This week’s decisions, the weekly log, the creatives gallery and the tests, filmed in the real template.
It’s made by a digital marketer who has managed ad budgets for 16 years. Before building it, we read the Meta ads templates on Notion, Etsy and Gumroad. Buyers praise the ones that explain every field, and none of them works out frequency, CPM or hook rate for you. This one does, and turns the numbers into a next step.
The last four weeks of cost per result and ROAS are held against your targets and turned into Scale, Keep or Fix.
When people see your ads three or more times a week, the campaign says Refresh ads and Frequency shows the risk.
Every creative gets its hook rate, hold rate and CTR, and a next step from its cost per result against the campaign target.
You copy six numbers per campaign from Ads Manager each week. No login and no access to your ad account.
We set it up from a fresh copy, the way you’ll get it: cleared the samples, added a campaign, logged real weeks with + Log week and checked Decision, Pacing, cost per result and ROAS by hand.
The main page shows this week’s decisions, the creatives gallery, the weekly log, tests and audiences, with a monthly report, a creative brief and an Ads Manager guide below. Each campaign and each ad also opens to its own page.
Each active campaign with its Decision, Pacing and Frequency, then cost per result and ROAS over four weeks next to your targets.
Objective, account, budget level, monthly budget and targets, with Decision and Pacing right under the name.
Each ad with its preview, hook and status, how well it holds attention (hook, hold and CTR), what it pays back and its Next step.
One row per campaign per week with Amount spent, Reach, Impressions, Link clicks, Results and Purchase value. Frequency, CPM, CTR, CPC, cost per result and ROAS work themselves out.
One change at a time, from the hook or the audience to the offer or the budget. Each test gets a review date a week in and a warning when it restarts learning.
A filled-in example for the candle shop: a summary, the last four weeks against the four before, each campaign, what worked and what’s next.

Fill it in before each new ad or send it to a UGC creator: who it’s for, the hook, the shots and the call to action.

A made-up candle shop and a Pilates studio show how it works. One button clears them, another brings them back.
In Ads Manager, set the date range to Last week.
Click + Log week for each campaign and copy six numbers.
Read Decision and Pacing in This week’s decisions.
Made a new ad? Click + New creative and mark it Testing.
You do this once. It’s easiest on a computer, with Ads Manager open next to it.
Buy it on Etsy and download the Start here PDF. Open the template link in it and click the Duplicate icon (two small squares) at the top. A free Notion account is enough.
Open Start here and click Clear sample data. Anything you add yourself stays, and you can bring the samples back.
Open Campaigns and add one row per campaign with its Monthly budget, Cost per result target and, for sales, a ROAS target.
On the main page, click + Log week. Pick the week and the campaign, then copy the numbers from Ads Manager.
Read Decision, Pacing and Frequency in This week’s decisions.
For every new ad, click + New creative and add its preview, hook and angle.
Running lead campaigns? Leave Purchase value and the ROAS target empty. Decision then goes by cost per result.
No. Each week you copy six numbers per campaign, which takes about five minutes. There’s no login and no access to your ad account.
Yes, all of it.
It compares the last four weeks with your targets. Fix means ROAS is more than 20% under target or cost per result more than 25% over. Otherwise, a frequency of 3 or more last week means Refresh ads. Scale means both targets are met, and anything in between is Keep.
They compare the ad’s cost per result with its campaign’s target. At or under the target is Keep, up to 30% over is Iterate, and more than that is Kill. With no results yet, it says Too early until the ad has spent twice the target.
Daily numbers jump around too much to judge a campaign. Reach counts each person once in a date range, so keep one row per campaign per week and don’t add weeks together.
Yes. Give each campaign and audience an Account, then filter or group by it. Each client can get a copy of the Monthly report page.
No. We made it on our own, and Meta doesn’t endorse it. Facebook and Instagram are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.
You download a Start here PDF from Etsy with the template link. Open the link and click the Duplicate icon at the top of the page, and the copy is yours to keep and change.
Email us at hello@magnetcreativestudio.com with the template name and what you see, and we’ll help you get it working.
