Reviewing the day’s words, the language cards, logging a study session and planning the week, filmed in the real template.
We read 149 reviews of other language templates. Learners praise the simple ones, and what they ask for most is a place for words and a way to go back over them. That’s where this one starts.
Click Got it and the word waits longer before it comes back: 2 days, then 4, 7, 15, 30 and 60. Click Again and you see it tomorrow.
Review today on the main page shows only the words that are due. Missed a day? Late words stay there until you get to them.
Your level and goal, today’s minutes against your daily goal, your streak, the last 7 days and how many words you know.
The sample has Spanish and Japanese side by side. Every word, session, grammar note and resource belongs to one language.
We set it up from a fresh copy, the way you’ll get it: cleared the sample, added a language with the New language template, logged a session, saved a word and checked it came up the next day, then brought the sample back.
The main page has a card for each language, the words to review today, this week’s study sessions and the resources you’re using now. Vocabulary, Study log, Grammar, Resources and Guides each have a page of their own.
Got it and Again sit under the word, next to when it’s due. Below are the meaning, how to read it, an example sentence, the topic and where you found it.
Level, goal and goal date, your daily minutes, an exam date if you have one and why you’re learning. The lines on the language card come from here.
Each language page has a plan for the week with minutes for each day, and a checklist of things you want to be able to do.
Every word, phrase and sentence with its meaning, reading, topic and status: New, Learning or Known. Tabs for Review today, By topic and Known.
Each session with its day, minutes, type and resource. Tabs for This week, a calendar, By type and Immersion, which gathers shows, podcasts and reading.
One page per rule with an example, its level from A1 to C2 and where you are with it: New, Practicing or Got it.
Apps, textbooks, courses, podcasts, shows, books, tutors and websites, each with its status, cost and the minutes you’ve logged on it.
How the review dates work, what A1 to C2 mean, and ideas for a 15-minute session or learning from shows.
For a language with another script, put how the word sounds in Reading. The sample has Japanese words with theirs.
Save a line from a show or a class as a Phrase or Sentence and it comes up for review like a word.
Spanish and Japanese with words, a week of study, grammar notes and resources show how it works. One button clears them.
