Up next, interviews, the weekly goal, the pipeline board, interview prep and the email templates, filmed in the real template.
Most job trackers are a table you keep filling in. In the 492 reviews of job trackers we read before building this one, the words that came up most were easy, simple and clean. So it stays one simple list of jobs, and it works out what comes next for you.
Seven days after you apply with no answer, Up next tells you to follow up. Add a next step and it shows that instead.
Apply-by dates, follow-ups, next steps and interviews for the next seven days in one list, soonest first.
Pick how many applications to send a week. A bar fills as you apply, next to your reply and interview rates.
Email templates for follow-ups, thank-you notes and offers, plus a page for your STAR stories before interviews.
We set it up from a fresh copy, the way you’ll get it: cleared the samples, added an application, moved it to Applied and saw its follow-up date appear in Up next.
The main page shows Up next, your interviews and your week side by side, with every application on a board below. Each job has its own page.

Saved, Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Rejected and Withdrawn. Drag a card to change its status. Tabs give you a full table, a calendar, your offers and the closed ones.
Company, status and Next up at the top, then priority, dates, salary, location, the job post link and your resume and cover letter. Below that, room for the job post, why you fit and questions to ask.
Recruiters, hiring managers, referrals and alumni, each linked to the jobs they’re part of.
Your STAR stories, common questions, questions to ask them and short checklists for before and after an interview.
Copy, fill in the blanks and send: a follow-up after applying, a thank-you after an interview, a referral ask, a coffee chat request and replies to an offer.
Up next and your rates read them, so each job is always in one clear place.
Sample dates move with today, so the demo never looks out of date. Your own dates never move.
Add the main page to Favorites in the Notion app and Up next is one tap away.
Twelve sample jobs show a search in full swing. One button clears them.
Four short steps inside your copy, with pictures of where to click.
Found a job? Click + Application, type the role and paste the key parts of the post.
Sent it? Set Status to Applied and add the date in Applied on.
Check Up next each morning and do what’s due today.
Got a reply? Write the Next step and its date, or add the interview with + Interview.
Do this once. It’s easiest on a computer.
Buy it on the Notion Marketplace and add it to your workspace when Notion asks. A free Notion account is enough.
Open Start here and click Clear sample data. The sample jobs, interviews and contacts leave every list.
Open My job search under This week and type your Weekly goal. Five to ten applications is a good start.
Click + Application, type the role as the title and fill in Company, Job post and Apply by if the post has a deadline.
Once you send it, set Status to Applied and add the date. Up next then shows when to follow up.
Keep the six Status names and the My job search card as they are. The formulas read them.
Yes. It runs on databases, formulas and buttons, and the free plan has all three.
Yes. Internships, new grad roles and later job changes all work the same way: a role, a company, an apply-by date and the link to the post.
An application marked Applied with no next step and no interview shows Follow up a week after the date you applied. Once you write a next step or add an interview, Up next shows that instead.
Any answer: an interview, an offer or a rejection. Your reply rate is replies divided by applications sent. The interview rate counts the ones that reached an interview.
Yes. Paste the link into Job post and copy the main parts of the listing into the page, since posts often come down after a few weeks.
Yes. Setup is easiest on a computer. After that, the Notion app shows Up next and your applications, and changing a status takes a tap.
From the Notion Marketplace, Notion adds it to your workspace right away. From Etsy, you download a PDF with the template link, open it and click Duplicate.
