Today’s jobs, the rooms, the chore chart, spring cleaning and the calendar, filmed in the real template.
We read 54 reviews of other cleaning templates in Notion. People ask most for something simple that’s easy to set up, and the feature they praise is a due date that moves by itself once a job is done. This one starts there and adds the family.
Click Done and the next date comes from how often the job repeats: tomorrow for a daily job, a week later for a weekly one.
Everything due or overdue, grouped by room. A late job shows in red with how many days it’s been waiting.
Everyone gets points for the last 7 days. Give a kid a goal and a reward, and a bar shows how close they are.
54 jobs across 7 rooms, from the dishes to the oven, the gutters and the smoke alarms. Keep the ones that fit your home.
We set it up from a fresh copy, the way you’ll get it: clicked Done and saw the job leave Today and land in the log, cleared the sample family, added a job of our own and finished it, then brought the sample back.
The main page has Today, what’s coming up this week, the family chore chart, your rooms and the shopping list. All tasks, Rooms, Family, Supplies and the Cleaning log each have a page of their own.
When and Done sit under the name. Below are the room, how often, who does it, minutes, points, the last time it was done and the next date.
Each room lists its jobs with when each one is due. The room card on the main page counts what’s due now.
Each person has a page with their points, their reward and every job assigned to them, soonest first.
Every job sorted by its next date, with tabs by room, by how often, a calendar and one for deep cleaning and home care.
Tick Spring cleaning on the big jobs, like washing the curtains or scrubbing the grout, and they gather in one tab for the weekend you set aside.
The main page lists every job due in the next 7 days, soonest first, so a busy week never catches you out.
Got ten minutes? This tab lists jobs of 10 minutes or less that are due within 2 days.
Pause a job you don’t need for now, like the gutters in winter. It leaves Today and Coming up until you untick it.
Every Done adds a row with the job, who did it and the day. The chore chart counts from here.
Sam, Alex and Mia show how it works. One button clears them and their history, and the rooms and starter jobs stay.
Open the main page and look at Today. Jobs are grouped by room, and late ones show in red.
Click Done on each job you finish. It leaves the list and comes back when it’s due again.
Short on time? Open Quick jobs for the short ones due soon.
At the end of the week, check the chore chart and see who earned their reward.
You do this once. It’s easiest on a computer.
Buy it on Etsy and download the Start here PDF. Open the template link in it and click the Duplicate icon (two small squares) at the top. A free Notion account is enough.
Open Start here and click the button to clear the sample family. Sam, Alex and Mia go with their history, and the rooms and 54 starter jobs stay.
In Family, add each person who helps. For a kid, fill in a points goal and the reward they’re working toward.
Open All tasks and make the list yours: change how often each job comes up, choose who does it and delete what you don’t need.
Each day, click Done on the jobs you finished in Today. The next date moves by itself.
In Supplies, tick Running low on anything you need, and it shows on the shopping list on the main page.
Back from a trip with a long overdue list? Start here shows how to get back on track.
Yes, all of it.
The job waits on Today in red, with the number of days it’s late, until someone finishes it. Its next date counts from then, so a weekly job done on a Thursday is back the following Thursday.
Each job has points. When someone clicks Done, they go to the person the job is assigned to. The chart adds up the last 7 days, so it never drops to zero on a Monday.
Yes. Share the page with them as guests, and each person clicks Done on their own jobs.
Yes. In the Notion app, open Today and tap Done on a card. Notion doesn’t send alerts for these dates, so add the page to your Favorites and check it once a day.
Yes. Click + Add a job on the main page, name it and pick a room, how often and who does it. It starts as due today. New rooms go in Rooms.
You download a Start here PDF from Etsy with the template link. Open the link and click the Duplicate icon at the top of the page, and the copy is yours to keep and change.
