Turnover checklist
Next guests, a welcome book, a booking with its messages and checklist, and the money, filmed in the real template.
Most of a host’s week is the same few jobs: answering guests, getting the place clean between stays and keeping an eye on payouts. This planner puts those on one page, and the welcome book your guests read lives right next to them.
Publish one page and send the link. Guests read it on their phone, and the rest of your planner stays private.
Every booking has five: after they book, 3 days before, check-in morning, checkout morning and after they leave.
Ten tasks, from stripping the beds to changing the door code, ticked off right inside the booking.
Payouts land in Money on their own, by the month of checkout, next to what you spent.
We set it up from a fresh copy, the way you’ll get it: duplicated it from the published page, cleared the sample bookings and expenses, and brought them back.
The home page opens with Next guests, then Welcome books, Money and All bookings. Start here sits at the top, and the databases on a page of their own at the bottom.
Who’s arriving, who’s staying and which places need a clean, on a board from Booked to Staying and Turnover.
Check-in and checkout times on top, then everything a guest asks about, from the Wi-Fi password and the lockbox to quiet hours, the hot tub and your favorite coffee.
Guests open the link without a Notion account, and the page fits a small screen.
Place, dates, nights, platform, guests and payout at the top, then the guest messages, the turnover checklist and notes.
Open a message, fill in the parts in [brackets] and paste it into the Airbnb app.
Cleaners, supplies, repairs and bills for each place, with the month’s total at the bottom.
All bookings shows the month at a glance, with the full list of past guests in the next tab.
Each place shows as a card with its photo, check-in and checkout times.
Juniper Cabin and Harbor Loft come with full welcome books, 8 bookings and 8 expenses, so you can borrow the wording.
One button hides the sample bookings and expenses, another brings them back.
Six short steps in your copy, with pictures of where to click.
When a booking comes in, click New under Next guests.
Copy the ready message for each step of the stay.
Drag the card from Booked to Staying to Turnover.
Tick off the checklist, then set Status to Done.
You do this once. It’s easiest on a computer.
Buy it on Etsy and download the Start here PDF. Open the template link in it and click the Duplicate icon (two small squares) at the top. A free Notion account is enough.
Rename Airbnb Host Planner, for example to your hosting business, and pick your own icon.
On Start here, click the button that clears the sample bookings and expenses. Anything you add yourself stays.
Under Welcome books, click New and replace the text in [brackets] with your own.
Open your welcome book, click Share, then Publish, and copy the link for your guests.
Under Next guests, click New and fill in the guest, place, dates, platform and payout.
Add each cost with New under Expenses.
Keep door codes out of the welcome book. Send them in a message on check-in day.
No. You add each booking yourself, which takes about a minute. The guest messages are ready to copy into the Airbnb app.
